Soon you’ll be able to do more than browse Facebook and Twitter. You’ll also be able to shop on these social networks, according to The New York Times Bits.

Twitter recently announced that it was going to acquire CardSpring, which is a mobile payments company that makes it easy for merchants to give deals to customers that can be loaded to to their credit cards. Then, when they use their card to pay at the store, it has a coupon on it ready to be used. In addition, Twitter will be working with Stripe to allow people to buy items without leaving the social network.
