/// Should Kids Have an Online Presence?
While some parents are trying to restrict the time their kids spend online, others are signing their babies up for websites. According to The New York Times, some parents are worried about whether their young children should have an online presence long before they are even able to use the computer.
Of course, it’s become more popular to create an email address for a child so the parents can send emails about their milestones they might want to remember. And since most parents post pictures of their kids on Facebook, it’s apparent that many “children born in the last 10 years will have been online hundreds, if not thousands, of times by the time they become self-aware or start to use computers.” But is creating a website or social media page for a baby, complete with pictures, going too far?
Consider this question by reading the article in The New York Times.
