Blogging Has Changed

/// Blogging Has Changed

GigaOM’s Mathew Ingram recently wrote about how he misses the old blogosphere. You know, the one where each blog was just the voice of one author sharing some thoughts, not heavily edited content specifically made to make money.

Apparently, what changed is that many blogs grew up, became successful, and were sold to businesses. They just don’t have the same voice or purpose anymore. Another change is that many bloggers now use social media to share their thoughts, leaving their blogs behind them. The result is a less personal blogosphere.

Do you agree with this nostalgic post by GigaOM? Check out the whole story and let us know what you think.
