Whether or not you like the auto-play feature on Facebook videos, marketers are pretty happy with it. CNET reported that brands have seen engagement increase by 58 percent because of this feature.
That means marketers have noticed more comments, share, and likes since posting videos that play automatically. On the other hand, posts that consist of only text have reduced in popularity. And in general, “Facebook’s advertising business continues to show solid growth, with ad impressions and ad clicks up 70 percent and 40 percent, respectively, year over year.”
