The Federal Communications Commission said Friday it has delayed until 2015 the timeline for a planned reverse auction of TV airwaves, a decision that reflects the commission’s intent on getting the complex proceeding right. FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler published a blog post announcing the FCC’s decision to delay the auction, after the commission previously set a goal of carrying out the auction next year. “I believe we can conduct a successful auction in the middle of 2015,” Mr. Wheeler said.
