Digital payments company Square said on Wednesday that its engineers will create and lead an eight-month academic program to help eight high school girls prepare for the AP Computer Science exam. The initiative, dubbed High School Code Camp, will include lectures as well as workshops in which students will make mobile apps. Square also hosts an abbreviated four-day version for college-aged women.
