It’s easy to tell what Apple thinks of iOS 7 , with everyone from Tim Cook on down praising it as the biggest thing since the iPhone . To get a reality check, we chatted just after the keynote finished with two prominent Apple developers: Evernote CEO Phil Libin and Flipboard CEO Mike McCue. Both liked what they saw, but said they needed more details to really know what it means for them. As for Libin, the one thing he’s certain of is that he is going to get the new Mac Pro that Apple premiered at the conference. Here are his answers to a few other questions. Have they made life easier for you as a developer? Libin: We’re never looking for our life to be made easier. I’ve never been this excited about just how much work is ahead of us over the next couple months. We are going to rethink a lot of things with iOS 7, but I think it is going to be great.
