/// Apple Offers iTunes Credits to Settle In-App Purchase Suit
Apple has settled a class action lawsuit that claimed its 2011-era in-app purchase policy failed to prevent children from racking up big fees on their parents’ accounts. Under the terms of the not yet finalized deal , Apple will offer eligible class members a $5 iTunes gift card, an account credit or, for claims over $30, a cash payment. Apple did not respond to a request for comment.
