The United States Postal Service announced this morning that, in a cost-cutting measure, it will only deliver mail on weekdays. The long-discussed plan is set to kick in Aug. 1, but it hasn’t yet been approved by Congress . It’s forecasted to save $2 billion annually. Because of continued growth and profitability in delivery of packages, those will continue to be arrive at people’s doors six times per week. So, shall we blame Lance ? It’s way bigger than that. The USPS had a $15.9 billion net loss in fiscal 2012
