January 21, 2013  |  All Things Digital

Celebrity billionaires are just like us! They take the subway, too! But when they do, some of them wear their personalized virtual reality goggles. Here’s the now-famous picture of Google co-founder Sergey Brin, wearing his Google Glass augmented reality specs , riding the New York City subway. It’s from Noah Zerkin , who says he snapped it after chatting with Brin on a downtown-bound #3 train. Double-bonus for Zerkin: He happens to be an “Augmented Reality enthusiast/hardware prototyper” who plays with this stuff at SuperTouch Group . (Sure hope he hasn’t Lennay Kekua’d us!) For a not-totally-safe-for-work interview with a Googler who also wears his Glasses out and about in New York City, check out this Gothamist interview .
