Yet another story out of Washington about the U.S. Federal Trade Commission staff’s inclination to sue Google for antitrust violations came through today — this time focused on patents. The agency is waiting to make its formal recommendation public until at least after the Nov. 6 presidential election, according to Bloomberg . This is separate from FTC investigation into Google’s allegedly unfair search rankings, though it’s also been reported that the FTC is leaning toward bringing a case about conduct against the company before the end of the year.
