Amanda Hunter, Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Go Try It On

Amanda Hunter joined Go Try It On as the Vice President of Strategic Marketing in the fall of 2011. In this role Hunter has a breadth of responsibility, including brand partnerships, user acquisition and content curation. She came to the Go Try It On team via the fashion industry, working as a buyer and a strategic planner at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Hunter has a B.S. in Management Science from M.I.T.

About Go Try It On – Go Try It On is a style social network built to answers the age-old question, “What should I wear?”  Financed in part by Index Ventures, who also have invested in Net-A-Porter and Etsy, Go Try It On debuted in March 2010, and currently has over 300K iPhone app users and over 19 Million opinions within the community.  Users share photos of style they love, and discover products they want. They can get tips and advice on what to wear from friends, stylists or brands.  We seek to influence the purchase decision by providing members with product suggestions & recommendations in order to create truly mobile social shopping platform.
