Specs Age 38 Accomplishments Health and fitness expert on NBC’s The Biggest Loser (season premiere is January 2013) and Losing It With Jillian ; author; investor in popchips brand Base Los Angeles What’s the first information you consume in the morning? I read a little paper on my iPad called The Daily . It’s the perfect mix of news and pop culture. What do you read or watch or listen to at the breakfast table? We listen to a lot of music at home—indie artists, classical. But now that I have a 2-year-old daughter, I have to listen to “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen and “Stronger” by Kelly Clarkson on repeat. What occupies your mind in the car, on the subway, train or bus? I go through a mental rundown of my to-do list. I also listen to my iPod because that’s the time I can actually listen to my music. As the day progresses, I get into heavier stuff like Skrillex and Avicii or Jay-Z. Are you a TV junkie or on an airtime-restricted diet? I don’t watch a lot of TV, but I do have shows that I live and die for. I’m obsessed with Breaking Bad and The Newsroom . I also love Dexter , Homeland , Nurse Jackie , and my all-time favorite was Six Feet Under . I DVR all my shows, and after the kids go to bed, I’ll watch them while I snack on popchips—the BBQ Potato and Tortilla Ranch ones are heaven. Before bed, do you bite into a novel, graze on Twitter or fast until morning
