/// Contour+2 Camera Takes Action Videos to Next Level
The battle of the action cameras continues to heat up, as Contour is set to release a new model that will add another perspective to your videos. Available later this month for $400, the Contour+2 shoots 1080p HD video and features an integrated GPS receiver that can capture such data as speed, elevation and distance. The information can then be shared on Facebook, YouTube and Vimeo along with your video, to provide more details about your adventure. The camera also works with an iOS and Android app that allows you to turn your smartphone into a remote control, so you can start or stop recording from your handset, as well as adjust the camera settings and preview your shot. Unlike the GoPro and Ion cameras, Contour uses Bluetooth for connectivity instead of Wi-Fi. The Contour+2 features an improved five-megapixel sensor, so you should see sharper video quality compared to the previous ContourRoam and original Contour+ models. The camera can capture video in four different HD video modes as well as still photos, and has an estimated battery life of two hours and 30 minutes, which is on par with the competition. The Contour+2 comes with a 60-meter waterproof case, a four gigabyte microSD card, a helmet mount, a rotating flat surface mount and mini HDMI, mic and USB cables.
