Virgin Mobile announced its iPhone plans on Thursday, saying it will start offering Apple’s phone on June 29th, with rates as low as $30 a month. While the monthly rates are the lowest around, customers will be paying full price for the phones. A 16GB iPhone 4S will sell for $649, with an 8GB iPhone 4 being offered for $549. Virgin, a unit of Sprint, is the second prepaid carrier in the U.S. to land the iPhone, following Leap Wireless . “This month marks Virgin Mobile USA’s tenth birthday,” Virgin Group founder Richard Branson said in a statement.
