/// New S-1: Facebook’s Yearly Growth Up 45 Percent, But Down Six Percent From Last Quarter

April 23, 2012  |  All Things Digital

Facebook filed an updated version of its S-1 public offering document today, including first-quarter financials. In the new document, the social networking site’s revenues were $1.058 billion, up 45 percent for the year, but down six percent from the previous quarter. Some investors might worry about the results, which show a slowing in Facebook’s torrid growth, but the company is attributing the quarterly decline to seasonality. It was flat in the same period a year ago. Facebook also said it had 500 million daily active users, up from 372 million a year ago.
