AT&T has sold off a majority stake in its Yellow Pages business unit for about $1 billion . Private equity firm Cerebus Capital Management will pay the telco $750 million cash and take on $200 million in debt in exchange for 53 percent of the directory business, which generated $3.3 billion in revenue last year.
