Ms. Laura Wicke Lang has been the Chief Executive Officer of Time Inc. since December 2011. Ms. Lang served as the Chief Executive Officer of Digitas Inc. until December 2011. She served as the Chief Executive Officer of Digitas USA of Publicis Groupe SA, Digitas LLC and VivaKi since June 2008 and served as its President. Ms. Lang served as the President of Digitas LLC, a subsidiary agency of Digitas Inc. (holding company of Digitas Health, ) from July 1, 2004 to 2007 … and served as President of Digitas LLC’s New York and Chicago offices since January 1, 2003. She has over 20 years of experience in brand management, corporate strategy, and strategic consulting. Prior to joining Digitas Inc. as Executive Vice President in April 1999, Ms. Lang served as President of Marketing Corporation of America which provided strategic consulting services to Fortune 100 clients in the telecommunications, technology and information, entertainment, travel, and gaming industries. She joined Marketing Corporation in 1995 as a Partner and developed a practice around technology and utilization of information with a significant amount of B2B consulting to include repositioning of corporate markets and was promoted to President in 1996. From 1989 to 1995, Ms. Lang served as Senior Vice President at Yankelovich Clancy Shulman and ran their consulting group. From 1986 to 1989, she served as a Product Director with Bristol Myers. She was Director of Internal Consulting for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals from 1983 to 1985. She began her career with Quaker Oats Company in brand management in 1980. She has been an Independent Director at NutriSystem Inc. since March 30, 2010. She has been a Director of V.F. Corporation since October 2011. She serves as a Director of American Association Of Advertising Agencies Inc. Ms. Lang served as an Independent Director of Benchmark Electronics Inc., from May 2005 to May 17, 2011. She serves on the advisory board of the Tufts University Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute. She graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts degree (summa cum laude) in 1977. Ms. Lang earned an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business in 1980.
