Obituary: Was sometimes called ‘radio’s poet laureate’ — Emmy-winning writer-producer Norman Corwin, who was among the first to use the new entertainment media of the 20th century to explore social issues of importance, died Tuesday at his home in Los Angeles. The cause was not given. The man sometimes called “radio’s poet laureate” was 101.
